A Christmas album unlike any you may have heard. Harkening back to an age long since past, but the feelings are still the same.

 

CMD's third release is an exploration of music that encapsulates the season, hence Decembersong.

 

With a completely different approach than their previous releases, CMD enlisted their talented friends to help out on many of the songs.

 

In addition to the traditional trio make up of piano, bass, and drums, they broadened their musical palette utilizing many different colors with instruments such as: soprano saxophone, guitar, synthesizers, and yes, even vocals.

A continuation of CMD's debut album, this collection is in a similar vein, but with subtle variations on a theme. The theme of exploration.

CMD'S DEBUT ALBUM

The group's first release "just a song..." is an album that allows the listener to enjoy straight through without any distracting complexities.

Not to say that what you'll hear is simple...no, not by any means. It only ensures that the listener is fully immersed in the music as an active participant.
